Rimmel London has unveiled the Colour Rush Lip & Nail Collection created by British singer Rita Ora. Alongside nail colours, the range is completed with five new shades of Lasting Finish Colour Rush Balm lip colour in a chubby pencil format. Shades include Make Me Blush and I Want Candy, Boom Chic A Boom, All You Need is Pink and Viva Violet. The Rita Ora Collection will be available nationwide from 19th March.
Lancôme is introducing Miracle foundation (£29.50), a new generation of nude foundation. Whereas most foundations are made up of water, oil and very dense compact charges, the Miracle Air de Teint formula contains low-density Miracle Particles which contain micro-perforations allowing air to flow freely. 25 times lighter than traditional powders, the new Teint Miracle diffuses twice as much light, offering sheer radiance and luminosity. Skin is left weightlessly mattified, while an SPF of 15 offers daily protection against UV rays. Teint Mirale is available on counter from 12th February.
Cassie Lomas
Cosmetics brand B. has unveiled celebrity MUA Cassie Lomas as its new make-up ambassador. Manchester-born and based, Cassie has 17 years of pro work under her belt, including celebs as diverse as Lady Gaga and Holly Willoughby. Her work features regularly across commercial and editorial shoots, fashion weeks and with celebrities for red carpet events, as well as numerous TV appearances and her own make-up school, the CassieLomasMakeupAcademy. Cassie will work with the brand on material and how-to videos, offering expert advice and tips on how customers can use products and get the look of current trends.
AOFM Pro, The Academy of Freelance Makeup, has announced its support for the following designers at London Fashion Week: Bora Aksu, Haizhen Wang, Nasir Mazhar and Gyunel on February 14; and Emilia Wickstead, Busardi and Bas Kosters on February 15. Mini makeovers will be on offer at the Shopcade LFW party bus between 15th and 17th February. In addition, AOFM Pro will work backstage at Sergei Grinko during Milan Fashion Week on February 23.
The Body Shop launches its Spring Trend Make-Up Collection featuring limited edition hair chalks, shimmer cubes and lip glosses. Easy to apply, wear and wash-out, the chalks come in Tickle Me Pink and Falling For Blue (£5) are on counter from 18th February, followed by the shimmer cubes (£16) and lip glosses (£7) on 26th February.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush (£28) is a groundbreaking hybrid product that combines lighting effects of ambient lighting powder with a spectrum of modern shades.
