The clock is ticking and there are only 4 weeks to go before our competitors take to the floor to battle it out in the Warpaint London make-up competition at Professional Beauty London on Monday 24th February.

For London 2014 our floor judges are Chloe and Sarah, Pro Make up Artists for Sparkle Box Studios, and MUA and beauty blogger Sinead Buckley.

With a combined experience in the industry spanning over 30 years and formal qualifications in Hair and Make Up, Chloe and Sarah are the brains behind Sparkle Box Studios providing a network of hair and make up artists nationwide.

After setting up the Sparkle Box Studios Professional Hair and Make Up School, Chloe and Sarah now pass on their expertise and teach students the tricks of the trade on becoming a pro hair and make up artists.

Sinead Buckley, aka Beauty by Blondie, is a professional hair and makeup artist in the UK covering everything from fashion to editorial to catwalk and more.  Her love of all things beautiful began when she started working part time for international make-up brand Benefit Cosmetics.  Always known for her creative streak, having spent eight years in marketing and PR, looking after the branding of a leading company listed on the London, NY & Irish stock exchanges, Sinead has developed a career for herself that is exciting and varied and involves working with a host of stylists, photographers and talent.

Our competitors have two hours to complete their look, and whilst a certain amount of preparation is allowed the majority of work needs to be demonstrated to our team of judges, who will be looking at every single detail.

For SFX artists, there’s a change to the programme with an extended work time of 5 hours to ensure that there’s plenty of time to impress our judges with their skills and creativity.
