With the Festive season upon us and 2014 around the corner that means just one thing – The Warpaint Conference and Competition at Professional Beauty Excel is only weeks away.
Taking place on Sunday 23rd and Monday 24th February at ExCel in London’s Docklands, we have a line up of speakers to educate and inspire you, as well as a whole day of competition to get your creative spirits flowing.
We are very proud to have NASMAH committee members, Sandra Exelby, Stephanie Kaye and Jeanette Redmond who bring their skills and expertise to show you how to style period wigs and create classic hair.
Red Carpet guru, Armand Beasley, will be revealing the secrets of the MUA’s kit, and SFX expert Mike Peel of Rogue Creations will create FX make-up using direct appliance materials and 3d transfer.
Top UK MUA and founder of The Session School Dani Guinsberg will be teaching the secrets to Complexion Perfection and how to achieve the perfect base. Alongside her busy schedule of work with the likes of Vogue, GQ, Esquire, Stella, ES, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire and advertising clients M&S and John Lewis, she is currently one of the judges for Instyle magazine beauty awards.
Salon retail experts, Laura Walker and Laura Brown from mineral brand jane iredale, will strengthen and inspire your retail skills to help you to provide the best service to your clients.
For the body artists out there, Warpaint welcomes first timers Jennie Roberts, Catriona Finlayson and Laurence Caird of Paintopia who will demonstrate how to paint a vintage clothing design.
Colour is key with Ema Doherty whose session illustrates its interaction with the skin, teaching great tips and tricks to create the perfect look each time.
In Monday 24th February the Warpaint Competition takes to the floor with four categories specifically designed to test and challenge every aspect of the make up artists’ skill. Judged by expert professionals, each discipline will showcase the wealth of talent that the UK has to offer.
