Benefit Cosmetics rolls out Lollitint
Benefit Cosmetics has revealed their new stain Lollitint. Available in a Candy Orchid tint, the lip and cheek stain is designed to add a pop of colour to complexions. Lollitint launches in February 2014 priced at £24.50.
AERIN launches Midnight Color collection
Inspired by Winter in all its glory, the limited edition 2013 AERIN Winter collection is a nod to the midnight hour. Golden tones, pretty nudes mix with elegant bold shades. The Winter Color Palette (£45) has colour for both eyes and cheeks and is versatile enough for numerous combinations of colour from subtle to bold. The Cool Gel Eyeliner in Gilt (£24) is a pretty gold and when applied gives a prism effect on darker colours. For lips AERIN launches Gloss in Festive for shimmer, Golden Kiss that glistens and a rich Red, Vibrant (£24). Lipsticks range from the subtle to the statement from the caramel Jacquard to Red Velvet.
Face Lace introduces new Crystallised Designs
Face Lace, a brand specialising in intricate make-up designs, ready-to-wear eye looks and masks, has unveiled its new Crystallised Designs. Among the designs are the Beauroque Mask which is inspired by the scrolling and floral motifs of the Baroque era, and the Rusque edition, inspired by Russian Decorative Arts from the 16th and 17th centuries. Prices range from £23.95 to £30.95.
Lipstick Queen launches
This month sees the launch of Metals from Lipstick Queen. Poppy King, The Lipstick Queen herself, has created three metallic lipsticks just in time for the Christmas festivities. The classic shades of nude, red and wine have had a luxuriant satin and metallic finish added using ultra fine metallic pearls while still keeping the smooth, drag-free application for which the Lipstick Queen is famous (£23). Also coming soon in February next year are Vesuvius Liquid Lips, six liquid lipsticks (£22) with high level pigmentation that take their name from the famous volcano as the consistency is not dissimilar to molten lava. Colours from Red and Blush to Candy and Coral are thick, shiny and disco-diva.
Paperself on the silver screen
As The Hunger Games: Catching Fire explodes onto the screens, look closely and you’ll see some of Paperself’s intricate lashes adorning played by actress Elizabeth Banks. Within the film Effie wears three styles of Paperself lashes in the form of Lace Garden, Antique Jewellery, and Birds, which were chosen by Ve Neill lashes specifically to create the other worldly feel to the character’s make up. Priced at £12.50.
Max Factor Excess Intensity Eyes
When Max Factor first created an eyeliner back in 1920, little did he think that his iconic brand would still be pushing cosmetic boundaries with the launch of their new Excess Intensity Longwear Eyeliners (£6.99). Available from January 2014, these liners come in six shades: Green, Aqua, Gold, Charcoal, Silver and Brown. The self-sharpening mechanical pencil allows for absolute precision and the new formula gives flexible waterproof eyeline. Launching alongside is the new Excess Volume Extreme Impact Mascara (£12.99), a two step, jet black gloss finish mascara. Step One gives volume and Step Two is a glossy top coat.
Pixi launch H2O skintint
New from Pixi come H2O skintint (£21), their new super-hydrating, gel-textured tinted moisturiser that gives skin a flawless look whilst being virtually invisible on the face. The lightweight coverage builds flawlessly for an evened-out skintone that looks fresh and healthy. Deep sea water, rose water, camellia extract and lavender extract are included to treat and protect.
