For over 30 years a Parisian based family business has been producing make-up for the biggest names in the industry, from Joinville to Hollywood. Founded when legendary French MUA Michel Deruelle collaborated with cosmetics expert Pierre Brunner and his wife Nine, the Maqpro name stands for quality and reliability the world over.
Still owned and run by the Brunner family, now with sons Pierre and Alain on board, the core of the original concept remains at the heart of the company. Product quality, traditional methods of production, constant creativity and team spirit are the value of Maqpro.
With an offering of three main brands – Maqpro, Le Maquillage Professionelle and Michel Deruelle –Brunner products are found in the kits of iconic artists such as Pat McGrath, Martin Bray and Stephane Marias. Custom designed palettes for specific MUAs are a speciality, designed by such names such as Jan Sewell, Wayne Goss, Morag Ross, Lizzie Yianni Georgiou and Daniel Phillips.
And on Saturday 30th November, UK artists get the opportunity to discover more about the products when Artistic Director and Head of Special Effects, Alain Brunner, visits the PAM studio in London’s Shepherds Bush for a Le Maquillage Maqpro Masterclass. Alain will be talking through all the products, their uses and how to keep them long lasting, as well as lots of tips and tricks. A fantastically informative session, all attendees will leave with some Maqpro product for their kits.
The Masterclass will be held at PAM, 6 Goldhawk Mews, London W12 8PA on 30th November. More details and to book contact katy@preciousaboutmakeup.com or call 020 8740 0808.
