January 2014 marks the launch of the new POREfessional: agent zero shine from Benefit Cosmetics. The product offers an invisible shine-control powder to mattify and reduce the appearance of pores, while the powder-brush dispenser features a twist, tap and sweep application. Guerlain has presented Abeille Royale Dark Spot Corrector Pore Minimizer. The product uses a blend of Glabridin, Ouessant, honey, clover honey and Sologne Royal Jelly specifically dosed in Whitening Royal Concentrate (to control the pigmentation process) in order to combat dark spots, combined with a refining action that helps to tighten pores. The formula uses smoothing powders to create what they term a surface healing effect in order to improve skin’s texture, absorb sebum, as well as featuring a mineral powder for a soft-focus finish. Anna Sui has brought out a new beauty line of cosmetics, exclusively available at online retailer ASOS for spring/summer 2014. Comprising of earth-coloured eye shadows, berry red lip colours and body and skincare products with natural rose extracts, the collection also features a One Night Only Minnie Mouse collaboration. The partnership merges the designer’s contemporary style and traditional influences with Disney’s whimsical collectable pieces, offering lipsticks shaped like Minnie, bow-shaped eyeshadow compacts, limited edition make-up tins and nail polishes with Minnie-engraved figurines. The Disney collection is available now, with Anna Sui’s signature line set to launch in 2014.
