On Sunday 13th October, Manchester Central is going to get a little bit spooky as Rhianna and Charissa Frend take to our stage at the Warpaint Conference to give you some seriously spooky ideas for Halloween.
As mothers of children ranging from 8 to15 years old, we can’t help but notice just how much Halloween has become part of our October half term planning. The nay-sayers will cite commercialism and they may have a point, but children and adults alike are becoming more and more obsessed with Halloween as MAC’s collaboration with Rick Baker only goes to prove.
Here at Warpaint we are planning a Halloween special edition full of zombies and vampires, and if you want to get some serious inspiration before then book in to see The Frend sisters cooking up a ghoulish extravaganza at Professional Beauty North.
Creative MUA sisters, Rhianna and Charissa Frend are based North West of England, working in all aspects of fashion, beauty, editorial, special effects and TV make-up. They travel the country on jobs as diverse as London Fashion Week, Waterstones Calendars, the NHS, Radio Wave and Channel 4’s Come Dine With Me.
Charissa and Rhianna have been collectively doing make-up for 10 years and Rhianna is fully qualified in teaching everything from Media Make-Up to Beauty Therapy. They have always been fascinated by the world of make-up and beauty which makes them very passionate about what they do together.
