Bon Noel from Givenchy

Givenchy 1 Givenchy-Ondulations-DOr-Palette-Holiday-Christmas-2013

The Christmas Collection from Givenchy is truly a thing of beauty.  Created by Nicolas Degennes, the brand’s iconic creative director, the Ondulations D’Or palette (£85.50) is all about sparkle and shine.  In a star-spangled package the eyeshadow of black and gold fused into a deep bronze is super versatile and is heated and pressed for longer, lighter wear.  Phenomen’Eyes (£22) separates the gold and black into pure colour dust that together creates an intense bronze.  The Lash Sparkles (£19) is literally gold dust.  It comes in the form of a transparent non-sticky gel that adds twinkling stars to the lashes and is used over mascara to enhance the eyes.  The limited edition Le Rouge Givenchy (£24) gives you two natural rose blushes infused with gold: Rose Precieux and Violine Precieux.  Available from next month.

GLo Minerals introduces their Corrective Camouflage Kit (£15.95) which features four colour correcting shades to neutralise and conceal skin discolourations.  Use the yellow to conceal mild redness, pink skin, under-eye circles, dark spots and black, blue and purple bruises.  The mint conceals redness from blemishes, scars, Port Wine Stains, and rosacea as well as red blotches.  Lavender is ideal for yellow, gray and green bruises, sallow complexions and under-eye circles on deeper skin tones.  The neutral is used to conceal general skin imperfections, minor acne and undereye circles.  For a natural-looking application use a Camouflage Brush or Precision Camouflage Brush.  A Finishing Sponge or Liquid Foundation Brush can also be used for application to large areas of skin.  Foundation base can then be applied over the top.
