Guerlain is all of a blush
New from Guerlain is the limited edition Madame Rougit (£42), a 4-colours blush. Inside the lacquered black case is a shimmery powder with four luminous stripes of colour. The luminous veil in the blush adds metallic texture, making this product bang on trend for autumn/winter 13. For an ultra sophisticated, autumn couture look, apply the darkest shade in the hollow of the cheeks and then blend the lighter shades to the curved areas along the top of the cheekbones.
Laura Mercier’s hydrating primer is revamped
Laura Mercier’s best-selling hydrating primer (£28) has been revamped with advanced technology. This is a popular primer that gives an even unblemished base for any foundation. It’s now reformulated to deliver even more hydration, as primers can be quite drying. It nourishes the skin with a moisture-rich vitamin formula to soothe and refresh while conditioning the skin and holds water in the skin throughout the day, preventing it from evaporating. Keep it in the refrigerator to refresh for the skin and reduces puffiness.
It’s all about Hydrated Lips
Following the trend of moisturising lippies, Benefit Cosmetics have revealed the Hydra-Smooth Lip Colour collection (£15). Coming in 10 different shades, it keeps lips hydrated and smooth with shea, mango butter and vitamin E. Shades include nice ‘n teasy, a rosy neutral; frisky business, a shimmery nude; air kiss, sheer bubblegum; and fling thing, very berry. On shelves in September.
