Warpaint isn’t just about the amazing interviews, behind-the-scenes access or incredible imagery. As part of Professional Beauty, Warpaint also hosts an expansive conference and an inspirational competition, where the sky’s the limit.
Professional Beauty North at Manchester Central on Monday 14th October 2013 will host the Warpaint Conference and Competition for the first time. Our conference speakers, all at the top of their game, also all hail from the North West as a nod to our Northern followers. The Competition has been designed to challenge every aspect of the make-up artists brief. With four categories: SFX, Fashion, Real Beauty and Edit, Warpaint has some leading MUAs in each field to judge.
The Warpaint Competition is for the first time in association with The Clothes Show Live Winners of all categories from the Warpaint Make-Up Competition held at Professional Beauty North will be invited to take part in the Emerging Make-Up Artist of the Year 2013 competition held at the Clothes Show Live on Sunday 8th December at the NEC. Taking part live on stage, the category winners will battle it out in a 90-minute live competition held at Clothes Show Live with the overall winner being crowned Emerging Make-Up Artist of the Year 2013.
The winning MUA will take part as an assistant make-up artist in the official Clothes Show Live Bright Young Things 2014 photoshoot and their work from this shoot will be featured in a forthcoming issue of Professional Beauty magazine.
The lucky champion will also have the option to enter a category of their choice free of charge in the Warpaint Make-Up Competition at Professional Beauty London 2014 taking place on 23rd and 24th February 2013 at London ExCeL.
